Handmade, one book at a time!
I combine high-quality materials with traditional bookbinding techniques to make unique, handmade blank journals and other paper crafts. I use decorative papers from global artisans, including hand-marbled Italian papers, Indian and Japanese screenprinted papers, and handmade, hand-dyed papers. Signatures (the paper inside) are created using Mohawk text weight paper, Fabriano sketch paper, or Arches watercolor paper, depending on the book. All sewn bindings use durable, 6-ply, waxed linen thread. I also make leather-bound journals and junk journals from upcycled materials.
